Abraham Hostel

I check into the Abraham Hostel which from the outside doesn't look like much but inside there is a cheerful, helpful staff, a bar, play area and lots of friendly people.  I had the private room which did not look like much and the WiFi not the best I ever had but it was good for my needs.

The Kingdom of Jerusalem

The time of the Crusades Jerusalem was known as the center of the world and the Kingdom of Heaven. Old maps showed the world revolving around Jerusalem.  Here is the crosswords of three great religions, Christian, Islam and Judaism.  I am excited about beginning my trip here and to the ancient city of Acre. Acre is the last Crusader stronghold to fall to the Islam in 1271.

And we are off...

I feel really excited about this trip. I am packed light 17 lbs total with me wearing the sweater and this includes all the gadgets. I feel good I got. my system down.
I got to the airport no problem with security. The first thing I headed for was the Lufthansa BB lounge. They are a nice spread of food, alcohol, juices, and comfortable chairs.
I had a nice business class seat in center island with no one next to me so I had two seats. The flight attendants were lovely and all smiles. The ride over seem to go quick as I could not sleep.

I found the shared taxi to my hostel easy enough. The ride was during rush hour so it was slow going and tight in the mini van. However, this was a new van with A/c and was not a bad ride. I arrived at my Hostel and I was anxious to begin.
